Surrounded by vineyards and cherry orchards, our resort is the perfect base camp for exploring Northwest Michigan:

  • Bike or hike the TART Trail 27 miles worth, or the Sleeping Bear Heritage trail, a 20-mile paved path that runs through the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake shore.
  • Boat Cruise out to the Manitou Island Lighthouse

Map & Directions

Wild Cherry RV Park is 15 Miles minutes north of Traverse City on M22 North, and then  2 miles west of Suttons Bay on M 204 or race street. Turn right on HORN RD and go approximately 1.5 miles to the entrance.

5 Local Villages – Leland ( Fishtown ), Lake Leelanau, Suttons Bay, Northport, Peshawbestown, Omena. All within 11 miles!

There is still Glen Arbor, Inspiration Point, Glen Haven, Cedar, Maple city, and Empire still with in 30 miles radius or less.

7 Miles too, the amazing west coast of Leelanau on the Lake Michigan shoreline, famous for its sandy beaches, relaxing walks, and rock hunting for Petoskey Stones and Leland Blues!

2 Miles to the “Lake” of Lake Leelanau, and East coast of Leelanau Suttons Bay, which is located on a bay of Lake Michigan, also named Suttons Bay, part of the larger Grand Traverse Bay.

  • Class A,B,C, 5th Wheels, and Travel Trailers are welcome. If your Rv is older than 15 years please send us a photo to pass the visual test. Text photos to 231-218-2756
  • All rigs are required to be self contained – you must have your own bathroom and shower.
  • We have no bathroom or shower facilities.
