My wife and I stayed at annual Cherry Festival. Previously we had always stayed at Traverse Bay RV resort when coming to the Traverse City area. We have traveled extensively over the years in a series of seven different RV's, from Minnie-Winnies to 45 foot diesel buses to fifth wheels. We were absolutely knocked out by the atmosphere at Wild Cherry. There was a very nice mix of RVs- from 1.5 million dollar Newells to tent campers. Though the areas for each type of RV'ing are separate, it was truly a place where everyone was welcome with uniformly high standards throughout the resort. Jim and Sandy Spinniken are amazingly hard-working and genuinely nice people who make the whole concept "go". I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Leelanau penisula.

This is by far the nicest park we have stayed in. Our kids love it and they always have plenty to do with all the great woods and trails you have. Also the lakes in your area are great for swimming and boating. We will spend all our summers at Wild Cherry.
