My wife and I stayed at annual Cherry Festival. Previously we had always stayed at Traverse Bay RV resort when coming to the Traverse City area. We have traveled extensively over the years in a series of seven different RV's, from Minnie-Winnies to 45 foot diesel buses to fifth wheels. We were absolutely knocked out by the atmosphere at Wild Cherry. There was a very nice mix of RVs- from 1.5 million dollar Newells to tent campers. Though the areas for each type of RV'ing are separate, it was truly a place where everyone was welcome with uniformly high standards throughout the resort. Jim and Sandy Spinniken are amazingly hard-working and genuinely nice people who make the whole concept "go". I would recommend this resort to anyone looking to experience the beauty of the Leelanau penisula.
